All 8th-grade students and their parents are encouraged to attend. 

Come out to see the many activities and clubs that will be offered next school year at GHS.

A registration presentation will be given at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium followed by a pizza dinner.  Students and parents can then come by the registration tables and meet with a school administrator to register for their 2018-19 classes and compose the student’s four-year personal graduation plan. 

Navarro College will also present dual credit information.

Booths will be available for students to get information regarding high school activities as well as endorsement area pathways.

GISD will hold a public hearing to discuss and possible approval on a resolution regarding SB693, relating to three-point seat belts on buses that transport school children.

ATTENTION SENIORS AND SENIOR  PARENTS

For those seniors who will be registering for college, you will need an updated Meningitis booster shot in order to enroll.  The booster is given every five years.  If you have any questions, please call Jenny Flowers, RN/School Nurse at 729-4185.

Online Registration
Now OPEN

Groesbeck ISD Families!  Gone are the days of filling out dozens of forms by hand at the start of every school year.  GISD has made going back to school easier for new and returning families with Online Registration.  Click on the PowerSchool icon below or visit Student Info, Registration.

Parents can now complete most of the required forms online.  EVERY returning student will be assigned a “snapcode” that will be given out at the beginning of the school year – so please check with your child’s campus!  New students do not need a snapcode to register for the first time.  If you do not have access to a computer, please visit your child’s campus where one will be provided.

Groesbeck ISD has added a layer of security for students and staff at Groesbeck High School. The security measure is located at the front entrance. During school hours, visitors wishing to enter GHS must be let in through a set of doors equipped with a camera and locking mechanism.

To enter the high school, please press the button located on the box to the left of the front entry doors. Once you press the button, office staff will unlock the door and you may enter.

Safety and communication is a priority at Groesbeck High School. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to educate your children each day.

High School - 7:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Middle School - 7:55 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.

Enge-Washington Intermediate - 7:50 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.

H. O. Whitehurst - 8:00 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
